Dr Justin Little
Veterinarian & Practice Owner
Justin grew up in Central Queensland on stud/commercial cattle and farming properties before heading to university where he graduated in 2013. After graduation, he ventured west to Mount Isa where he stayed for almost 5 years. During that time he became a proficient mixed animal veterinarian undertaking everything from complex medical feline cases, canine orthopaedics to cattle and equine reproduction. His main area of work whilst out west involved providing foetal ageing/segregation programs, spaying and bull testing to the large scale commercial cattle operations through the Gulf and Channel country of Queensland as well as the Barkly region of the Northern Territory. Since leaving Mount Isa he has travelled far and wide including a thoroughbred breeding season at Scone in the hunter valley, mixed practice locuming west of Brisbane as well as a 2-year stint on the Coast at Innisfail.
Justin purchased the clinic in August 2021 and is exceptionally grateful to have a fantastic team and vets and nurses as well as being based in such a nice an area as Mareeba.
In his spare time Justin can be found spending time mustering on his family in laws' breeder station north of Mount Garnett, fattening country on the coast or on his own farm at Millaa Millaa.
