Veterinarian & Practice Owner
Justin grew up in Central Queensland on cattle and farming properties before graduating in 2013. He spent nearly five years in Mount Isa as a mixed animal veterinarian, gaining experience in all areas of mixed animal practice. His work included spaying, bull testing, and foetal ageing programs for large-scale commercial operations across Queensland and the Northern Territory as well as intensive medical and surgical small animal work in town.
Since then, Justin has broadened his experience with thoroughbred breeding in Scone, locum work west of Brisbane, and a two-year stint on the Coast at Innisfail. In August 2021, Justin purchased Central Vets and now leads a passionate team dedicated to providing exceptional care for pets and livestock in the Mareeba community. Outside the clinic, Justin enjoys mustering on his family-in-law’s breeder station, managing fattening country on the coast, and working on his own farm at Millaa Millaa.
